Specialized Nigerian students with outstanding academic records enrolled in Federal universities collaborating with the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) are eligible for the NHEF Scholars Programme.

The penultimate students of Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Bayero University in Kano, the University of Ibadan, the University of Lagos, the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, and the University of Port Harcourt are eligible to apply for the NHEF Scholars Programme.

In addition to having excellent academic achievement and being a penultimate student at one of the partner colleges, prospective students must be highly committed to community service, leadership, philanthropy, and lasting effect on the world.

The selected applicants of this program will be presented with a variety of opportunities aimed at accelerating their early careers. Every selected student participates in a week-long orientation program during which they are introduced to career development training, which is crucial for easing their transfer into the global workforce.

International facilitators who have been carefully selected will provide rigorous training to a select group of NHEF Scholars Programme students. The recipients will begin six to eight-week internships at our partner firms.
