Fully funded 2024 Chief Minister Merit Scholarships

The fully funded 2024 Chief Minister Merit Scholarships are open to exceptional researchers who wish to pursue Ph.D. programs at one of the top 50 universities in the world.

Pakistani male and female students with outstanding academic records who wish to continue their studies up to the Ph.D. level at one of the world’s top 50 prestigious academic institutions can apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarships.

Regardless of their outstanding academic record, international students are not eligible to apply for these scholarships, which are given out based on merit. The purpose of the Chief Minister Merit Scholarships is to reward deserving Pakistanis.

To be eligible for this scholarship programme, male and female nationals of Pakistan must be under 35 years old and have graduated from an accredited university in Pakistan or abroad with a bachelor’s degree.

The Chief Minister Merit Scholarships, which are fully funded, will pay for the complete tuition, health insurance, and travel of Pakistani students who meet all eligibility requirements, including male and female students.

Chief Minister Merit Scholarship Requirements for Eligibility

• One of the Top 50 must have extended an admission offer to the applicant.

• Applicants’ cumulative academic record cannot be less than 60%.

• Applicants need to show documentation of their families’ monthly income.

• Candidates cannot be older than 35 at the time of application submission.

• Applicants are not eligible to have previously received any foreign scholarships.

• If chosen, applicants may not postpone receiving the scholarship.

Only male and female Pakistanis are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Coverage of Chief Minister Merit Scholarships

• The scholarship program pays for the chosen students’ whole tuition.

• The scholarship program covers the chosen students’ board and housing.

• Selected students receive airfare through the scholarship programme; • Selected applicants receive health insurance.

All applicants should note that the scholarships are based on the disciplines. For example, students enrolled in science courses are eligible for 80% of the grants.
