The Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarships 2023-24

The Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarships:

The Government of Mauritius is awarding its scholarship awards to promising students who are from member states of the African Union or African Commonwealth countries. About fifteen most qualified applicants will be shortlisted for this scholarship.

Scholarship Eligible Requirements

Students who wish to apply for undergraduate programmes — should be more than 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26th birthday by January 1, 2024.

Students who wish to apply for Ph.D. programmes — should not be 40 years or above by January 1, 2024.

• Interested must have already applied for a full-time on-campus programme (Diploma, Degree, MPhil, or Ph.D.) at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius.

Duration of Scholarship Programme

• Undergraduate Diploma: 3yrs

• Undergraduate Degree: 4yrs

• MPhil / Ph.D.: 4yrs + 6 months for the transfer from MPhil to PhD

• Ph.D.: 3yrs

Scholarship Benefits

• The selected students will be offered a Living Allowance and other perks.
