You are eligible to apply for the esteemed Merit-based scholarships intended for outstanding first-year students at one of the top universities in the world and the United States as a first-year at the University of Florida.

International students who have shown excellence in their academic records and a strong desire to study at the esteemed University of Florida are eligible to apply for annual merit-based scholarships.

Interested students are not required to apply for the University of Florida’s merit-based scholarships. The admission applications of each first-year student will be used to determine eligibility for the awards.

The University of Florida has a committee in charge of selecting recipients of merit-based scholarships. The committee evaluates applicants according to their leadership positions, scholastic standing, and community involvement.
