Understanding the KSU Cut-off Mark and JAMB Cut-Off Mark

The cut-off score for universities in the 2023–2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) admission process is 140. This means that you can take the admission exam for the university of your choice if you received a score of 140 or higher on the most recent UTME.

This is only sometimes the case, though, as some state and federal universities have higher cut-off marks. KSU’s cut-off mark is 140, as published by the registrar, as opposed to these universities’ adoption of the JAMB cutoff point.

To be eligible for the admission exam, you must meet the KSU cut-off point. However, one must do more than meet the KSU cut-off mark to get admitted into the esteemed university. You need to receive an outstanding grade on the post-UTME.
