2023–2024 Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship at ANU
Mr John Nicholson generously established the Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship at the Australian National University in honour of his father, Dr Angus Nicholson. The grant encourages and supports outstanding local and international students who want to attend ANU.
Students who are interested in these subjects of study may apply for Medical Science, Health Science, and Science [Honours]. The only basis for awarding the Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship is merit. Interested international students must thus have outstanding academic records.
Canberra, Australia’s capital, is home to Australian National University. It was founded as a public research university in 1946. Over 21,000 undergraduate and graduate students attend ANU. ANU is highly regarded in Australia and the Times Higher Education rating.
More than 40 Rhodes scholars and six Nobel Laureates have attended Australian National University. ANU has also produced two prime ministers and has people in senior Australian government posts. Additionally, former ANU students had successful careers outside of Australia.

Criteria for Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship Programme Eligibility
Both domestic and international students may apply for the scholarship scheme.
Both local and international students who are interested must have distinguished academic records in scientific subjects.
Both local and foreign applicants must demonstrate their enthusiasm for science.
For interested domestic and international students to pursue full-time courses at the institution, they must be eligible for enrolment or already be enrolled.
