Exchange Program is providing The Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program (Tunisia
UGRAD) to distinguished learners from Tunisia in the United State.

The program offers candidates a deeper awareness of American culture and contemporary
internationally-relevant aptitudes and expertise to enable them to contribute to the financial
development and growth of Tunisia.

Department of State Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship | DETAILS

The Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program (Tunisia UGRAD), an aspect of the
Department of State’s Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program, provides full scholarships to
distinguished scholars from underrepresented sectors and aspects of Tunisia for one
educational session of non-degree undergraduate study in the United States at accredited
four-year institutions.

Qualification Standards

To be qualified for The Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program, recipients are anticipated
to fulfill the subsequent conditions:

A resident, national, or permanent citizen authorized to have a valid passport issued by the
country of Tunisia
Presently living in Tunisia
Presently registered as a full-time undergraduate scholar in good educational placement at the
time of application at a registered educational institution in Tunisia
Qualified to accept and maintain a J-1 visa
Determined to returning to Tunisia after fulfillment of the program
Talented in written and spoken English at the time of application
At least 18 years old by the time the program commences.
