The University of Birmingham Metallurgy and Materials International Achievement Scholarships for 2022/2023

The Metallurgy and Materials International Achievement Scholarships for international students in programs from Materials Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Nuclear Science and Engineering, will give the selected applicants the opportunity to be known and rewarded for their excellent academic achievements before coming as students at the University of Birmingham in the UK.

The Scholars of these scholarships programs will be offered the Excellence Scholarship or Achievement Scholarship, the level of applicant’s academic achievements will determine the scholarships they will be given.

The University of Birmingham was established in 1825 in the United Kingdom. The university is a public research university that acquires its royal charter in 1900 as a successor to Queen’s College, Birmingham (formed in 1825 as the Birmingham School of Medicine and Surgery), and Mason Science College (founded in 1875 by Sir Josiah Mason).

Academics and alumni of University of Birmingham are the former British Prime Ministers Neville Chamberlain and Stanley Baldwin, the British composer Sir Edward Elgar and eleven Nobel laureates.

Scholarship Worths:
• The Metallurgy and Materials International Achievement Scholarships offer £1500 tuition fee discount or cash transfer in each year of applicant’s undergraduate degree. It’s for all applicants who meet the requirements below.

• The Metallurgy and Materials International Excellence Scholarship offers £3000 tuition fee discount or cash transfer during the first year of candidate’s undergraduate degree for all applicants who meet the requirements below.

Eligibility Criteria for Metallurgy and Materials International Achievement Scholarships
For applicants to be eligible for the Metallurgy and Materials International Achievement Scholarships, they must:

Applicants must possess the following results or equivalent in other qualification systems*
° Provide a Levels AAB
° Present IB: 6, 6, 5 from Higher Levels
HKDSE: 5, 5, 4
° Provide Indian Standard XII ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra 80% overall
° Provide Indian Standard XII West Bengal: 75% overall
° Provide Indian Standard XII Other State board: 85% overall
° Provide Malaysian STPM: Grades equivalent to A level grades above
° Your fees must not be fully paid by a sponsoring body
° Candidate’s must be admitted to one of the below courses for year 1 entry in 2022 after placing it as the firm choice in UCAS:
