Italy Government MAECI Scholarship Program 2023-2024

Financial relief is here for those outstanding and witty international students who wish to pursue Master’s and PhD degree programs in Italy, however, are being discouraged by the high cost of studying in the country. The government of Italy has released tons of scholarships to support the education of students in this category.

The scholarships are offered to students through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Interested students are required to apply for their preferred scholarships on the Ministry’s official website wherein they will be shortlisted for the scholarships based on merit: academic records and language skills.

Italy Government MAECI Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Successful candidates will be exempted from paying enrollment fees.
It covers successful candidates’ tuition fee
Successful candidates will be offered health Insurance.
Successful candidates will be offered a monthly stipend that is up to 900 Euros. The money will be sent directly to their bank accounts.

Italy Government MAECI Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates for Master’s degree programs must possess Bachelor’s degrees from their home country.
• Candidates are to submit their applications to the Ministry’s website.
• Candidates for PhD degree programs must possess Master’s degrees.
• Candidates for Master’s degree programs must not be less than 28 years at the time of application.
• Candidates for PhD degree programs must not be less than 30 years at the time of application.
• Candidates’ written and spoken English or Italian language must be fluent.
• Candidates for research under an academic supervisor must not be less than 40 years.
