The Harvard University Academy Scholars Program is founded to assist outstanding scholars at the beginning of their careers whose work blends with disciplinary excellence in the law or social sciences with a command of the language and history or culture of countries or regions outside of Canada or the US.

Eligibility Criteria for Harvard University Academy Scholars Program
The competition for Harvard University Academy Scholars Program is designed only for recent Ph.D. (or comparable professional school degree) students and doctoral applicants in the Law or Social sciences.
Applicant who’s still pursuing a Ph.D. should have completed his or her routine training and be well along in the writing of his or her thesis before putting in to become Academy Scholars.
Have you finished your Ph.D. program? The Ph.D. completion date mustn’t exceed the three years of the October, 1 application closing date. For the applicants applying for the October 1, 2022 closing date, they must have completed their Ph.D. or equivalent by September 30, 2018.
